Concerts in the Park
Concerts in the Park is a day of live entertainment, showcasing the northwest’s most talented bands. And thanks to the sponsors and hard-working organizers, it’s all free. Remember to bring your chair, blanket, sunglasses and get ready for the fun of a summertime music festival. The Park will be filled with vendors, food and activities all day.
Mr. Mikes Beach Blast Volleyball
With many hands they somehow transform a parking lot into a beach! Then it is a hive of activity for the next two days. Competition in three categories and in recreational and competitive divisions: 4 on 4 Coed, 2 on 2 Men’s, and 3 on 3 Women’s. Exceptional prizing. Always great fun for competitors and spectators.
Legion Parade
Thousands will line Lakelse Avenue this morning for the annual parade! Spectators will be treated to colourful floats, bands, lots of excitement and no doubt some candy. This year’s parade theme is “100 Years of Celebrating Community Spirit.” The parade starts at City Hall on Lakelse Avenue and travels east to end at the Legion.
Firework Extravaganza
It’s the perfect ending to a very busy day at Riverboat Days. Watch the sunset and gather in this amazing setting overlooking the Skeena River below the Old Bridge for an incredible once-a-year spectacle!
